Bulk Edit in Feedback Table
Updating feedback fields one by one is slow. For teams managing large backlogs, keeping status fields current and connecting multiple feedback items to work items required repetitive manual work that most teams simply skipped.
All feedback items in the table now include checkboxes. Selecting multiple items reveals a bottom bar with options to update status, internal status, importance, company, and labels in bulk, as well as connect multiple items to work items at once. When updating external status in bulk, a confirmation message will appear to confirm that submitters may be notified of the change.
To get started, open the feedback table and select the checkboxes next to the items you want to update.
Promote and Connect Feedback to Bugs and Subtasks
Until now, feedback could only be promoted or connected to features and epics. Teams handling bug-related feedback or granular requests had no direct path to bugs or subtasks.
With this update, two new options are available from the promote menu: "Promote to Bug" and "Promote to Subtask". Promoting to a Bug opens a search panel to select a parent Epic. Promoting to a Subtask opens a search panel to select a parent Story. Both support status filtering and search by name or ID.
Connecting to existing bugs and subtasks is also now supported. From the 3-dots menu or the "+Connect" button in the feedback panel, you can search and connect feedback to any existing bug or subtask directly.
Bugs and subtasks now also include a feedback tab, feedback count in table columns, and appear in the connected work items table inside the feedback panel.
To promote a feedback item, open the promote menu and select "Promote to Bug" or "Promote to Subtask". To connect to an existing item, use the 3-dots menu or the "+Connect" button in the feedback panel.
Connected Items Pop-up
The connected work items data was there, but getting to it meant opening the full feedback panel every time. For teams doing quick triage in the feedback table, that extra step added friction.
Clicking the Connected Items column on any feedback row now opens a pop-up showing all connected work items with their title and status. The pop-up includes a 3-dots menu per item and a "+Connect" button to add new connections without leaving the table.
To use it, click the Connected Items column value on any row in the feedback table.
