Feedback Bulk Editing

Key Takeaway

Bulk Edit Feedback Custom Fields

Bulk edit in the Feedback Table has so far covered status, internal status, importance, company, and labels. Custom feedback fields - introduced for classification, triage, and prioritization - could only be edited item by item, so moving data into a newly created field or re-triaging a batch of incoming feedback meant repeating the same edit dozens of times.

With this update, the new workspace custom feedback fields can be edited in bulk. To get started, open the feedback table, select the checkboxes next to the items you want to update, and click "Multiple fields".

New Bulk Panel Design

Selecting feedback items in the table now reveals a streamlined bottom bar with the most frequent actions one click away - status and connecting to work items - plus a new Multiple fields button.

Clicking it opens a side panel with all feedback fields organized by category, just as they appear in the feedback item panel, with a search bar that filters fields by name so even workspaces with rich custom field schemas stay quick to work in.

You can set values for as many fields as you need across the panel, then click Apply to save all your changes to the selected items in one action.

Custom Feedback Fields Enhancements

Until now, custom field data stayed behind when feedback was promoted: the new work item started empty, and any internal classification had to be re-entered manually.

With this update, when a feedback item is promoted, any custom feedback field that shares its name with a workspace custom field carries its value over to the new work item automatically - so pre-defined triage workflows flow straight into the roadmap.

In addition, custom feedback fields can now be created directly from the Feedback Table: open the + Column dropdown and click "+Add feedback field", without going through workspace settings.
