Craft.io's Capacity Planning view enables you to track everyone's availability, evaluate resource availability across teams and capabilities, and test resource adjustments by simulating how changes will affect capacity. In this release, we are glad to introduce our new and improved Capacity Planning view: we have dramatically boosted its performance and loading time, ensuring a seamless user experience and a superior way to present and analyze your product information.

In this release, users can now collapse and expand capacity planning view groups and parent items, providing a better understanding of hierarchy relationships and facilitating efficient drill-down into relevant groups. To collapse or expand a group, simply click on the arrow icon.

We have implemented the ability to "Pin" the first column (Item Title), ensuring it remains visible even while scrolling horizontally. This allows you to focus on the items while estimating their efforts. Enhancing visual clarity and reducing clutter, the group headers now display a Pin icon. By clicking on this icon, the column will be fixed to the left side of the table, allowing users to maintain context as they navigate through the data. If at any point you wish to unpin the column, simply hover over the Pinned icon and select the appropriate option.

Craft.io offers a diverse array of views, each tailored to specific aspects of your work and data. It can be challenging to maintain a clear focus and purpose within a capacity planning view. In this release, we are delighted to introduce the ability to highlight columns in our Capacity Planning view. You can accentuate specific columns, giving your data a visual boost and improving overall visibility, allowing you to emphasize important information. To highlight a column, simply enter the column drop-down dialog, select the "Highlight" action, and choose your desired color to apply to the column.

Craft.io’s table feature offers unparalleled capabilities, empowering users to effortlessly manipulate and analyze data according to their preferences. In this release, we have enhanced our capacity planning view functionalities to allow seamless aggregation of table columns for deeper numerical insights. Simply click on a formula or number field column header and select “Sum Values” to get the total, Alternatively, Click the arrow, and you'll find a dropdown menu to select the 'average' option. or "Unsum" to remove it. Note that this functionality does not apply to capacity planning fields.
