A custom connector connects your whole organization to the Craft.io MCP server at once. An organization Owner adds Craft.io as a connector, and from there, anyone in the account can connect with a single click, sign in, and start working with live Craft.io data in Claude chat and CoWork - without configuring anything on their own machine.
Before you begin
You will need:
Owner access in your organization's Claude account - only Owners can add or edit organization-wide connectors
A Craft.io account
Your Craft.io MCP server URL for your region: US - https://mcp.craft.io/mcp, or EU - https://mcp-eu.craft.io/mcp
Set up Craft.io as an organization connector
This part only needs to happen once, and only an organization Owner can do it.
Follow these steps:
In Claude, open Organization Settings, then select Connectors.
Click + Add, then choose Custom > Web.
In the Add custom connector dialog, name the connector Craft.io.
Paste in the Remote MCP server URL for your region (US or EU, listed above). Leave Advanced settings (OAuth Client ID and Secret) blank - Craft.io doesn't require them.
Under Connection methods, leave Individual sign-in selected. This is what lets each person sign in with their own Craft.io account in the next section.
Click Add.
Craft.io now appears in your organization's connector list, tagged Custom.
Once Craft.io is added, you can set default permissions for its tools - for example, always allow read-only actions and require approval before anything is created or changed. Individual users can adjust their own permissions afterward if you allow it. None of this is permanent - permission defaults can be changed at any time.
Connect to Craft.io
Once Craft.io is added at the organization level, connecting is the same as authenticating with any other connector, like Figma or Mixpanel. There is nothing to install or configure on your own machine.
Follow these steps:
Open Settings.
Select Connectors.
Find Craft.io in the list and click Connect.
Sign in with your Craft.io account when prompted. See how authentication works for the Craft.io MCP server for the full sign-in flow.
What you can do with once connected
You'll be able to use the Craft.io MCP server via Claude Chat, CoWork, and Code. Try asking:
List my Craft.io workspaces
Show me the items in my product roadmap for Q3 2026
Summarize customer feedback from the last 30 days.
Managing access
Organization Owners control who can use the Craft.io connector and what it's allowed to do without asking permission each time.
Access to Craft.io requires an Enterprise plan, a paid seat, and MCP enabled for your organization - see how authentication works for the Craft.io MCP server for what each of those error states looks like
Owners can set read-only tools to always allowed, and require approval before write actions run
Individual permission settings can be adjusted per person, if the Owner allows it.
