Key Takeaways
Enterprise Portfolio: A new top-level space that aggregates multiple portfolios, giving enterprise leaders a single place to view and manage work across the entire organization
Super Initiatives: A new work item type at the enterprise level, connecting large strategic bets to portfolio-level initiatives, epics, and beyond
Enterprise Portfolio
Until now, the highest-level space in Craft.io was the Portfolio, which aggregates multiple workspaces within a division. Large organizations managing several portfolios had no single space to view, compare, and work with data across all of them.
With this update, Enterprise Portfolio is a new top-level space that sits above portfolios and aggregates them into one unified view. Enterprise leaders can view and edit initiatives and epics from multiple portfolios and their connected workspaces, slice and dice all work items and OKRs across the organization, and track cross-portfolio dependencies. Like other spaces, the Enterprise Portfolio has its own members. Admins can invite members as admins, editors, or viewers.
To get started, contact your designated CS manager to have your Enterprise Portfolio created and configured.
Super Initiatives
The highest work item level in Craft.io was the Initiative, scoped to a single portfolio. Organizations managing work across multiple divisions had no way to represent an enterprise-level initiative that spans several portfolios.
With this update, Super Initiatives are a new work item type available at the Enterprise Portfolio level. You can connect existing initiatives to a super initiative, creating a full enterprise hierarchy: super initiative → initiative → epic, and so on. This allows enterprise teams to define large strategic bets at the top level and trace how they break down across every division and product line.
