Craft.io Portfolios provide a high-level view of multiple workspaces by consolidating epics and features into one space. Previously, users could display either initiatives or epics—but not both—within portfolio views. With this release, we introduce Flexible Hierarchy, allowing you to view both initiatives and epics together.

This enhancement provides a clearer breakdown of initiatives into epics (and features) and is especially valuable in roadmap views, where users can now create more detailed, structured roadmaps. To enable this feature, simply activate Flexible Hierarchy in the Hierarchy Controller and select the work item types you want to display. For a tree view of initiatives and epics, select Sort by Hierarchy in the Sort Controller to structure your portfolio table view accordingly.
