Craft.io Portfolio and Jira Advanced Roadmaps integration

We are excited to announce a major update to Craft.io that introduces seamless integration between Craft.io portfolio initiatives and Jira initiatives. This new feature allows you to bridge the gap between your product management activities in Craft.io and your development and project management workflows in Jira, providing a comprehensive and unified experience across teams and work domains.

Key features & values:

  • Sync Initiatives between Craft.io and Jira:

- Connect your Craft.io initiatives with Jira advanced roadmap initiatives, creating a seamless link between the two platforms.

- Initiate immediate synchronization of initiative details, such as titles, descriptions, and statuses, between Craft.io and Jira, ensuring consistent and up-to-date information across both platforms.

  • Seamless Visibility across Teams and Work Domains:

- Gain a holistic view of your product management initiatives and their corresponding development and project management activities.

- Foster collaboration and alignment between product managers, development teams, and project managers by sharing critical information and progress updates between Craft.io and Jira.

Set the Portfolio level integration

With this release, users can seamlessly connect their Craft.io Portfolio and Jira Advanced Roadmaps projects, enabling a streamlined workflow between the two platforms. By setting up this connection, teams can effortlessly synchronize and exchange crucial strategic and tactical data related to their long term plans and execution tracking.

Users can now map initiatives and their metadata between Craft.io and Jira, tailoring the integration to their specific requirements. This empowers teams to align and synchronize their workflows, ensuring a seamless transition between the two platforms.

Additionally, users can configure a webhook within Craft.io, facilitating the automatic pushing of updates from Jira to Craft.io Portfolio in real-time. This ensures that project information remains up-to-date, eliminating the need for manual updates.

Connect Portfolio initiatives to Jira and gain immediate synchronization

Once a manual synchronization to Jira (auto sync will be released in the next phase) is done for an initiative within Craft.io, you can effortlessly transfer initiative details, such as timelines, assignees, and more, between the two platforms, ensuring that all stakeholders stay up-to-date with the latest information. This gives you the flexibility to manage and prioritize initiatives without disrupting your workflow.

Furthermore, we are now supporting bulk syncing of initiatives, enabling you to synchronize multiple initiatives at once. This feature saves valuable time and effort by streamlining the syncing process, particularly for larger projects with numerous initiatives.

Lastly, this new integration is reflecting the relationships of initiatives and epics between Craft.io and Jira. This means that the hierarchical structure of initiatives and epics created in Craft.io will be accurately represented in Jira, and vice versa. This ensures seamless coordination and alignment between the two platforms, making it easier than ever to manage complex projects.

We hope you enjoy Craft.io’s latest features! Jump into Craft.io and try them out for yourself.
