Key Takeaways

Category-Specific Notifications

Users can opt in to get notified when new feedback is submitted in the Feedback Portal.

Until now, these notifications were all or nothing - users either received updates for every new submission or none at all, often creating noise and distraction.

With this enhancement, users can now customize their notification preferences by feedback category within the Feedback Portal. This means they can choose exactly which categories they want to follow and get notified only when new feedback is added in those areas.

Customizable Status Notifications

Different team members engage with various stages of the product lifecycle, and now they can fine-tune their email notification preferences to match.

Until now, users received notifications only when items were completed. With this enhancement, teams can now choose which status changes trigger notifications - all configurable at the workspace level.

For example:

  • Product Managers can subscribe to updates when items move to Development Done.

  • Product Leaders can get notified when items are Ready for Review.

This ensures inboxes remain focused on actionable updates.

Dependency conflict notification

Users can define dependencies between items and place them on a timeline to manage schedules and delivery plans. When the end date of a blocking item changes, its dependent items may experience a delayed start.

With this enhancement, the right people automatically get notified when that happens. The assignee (and any watcher) of the affected item receives a real-time email notification, while the user who changed the date sees an immediate in-app message explaining the impact.

This ensures teams can act quickly, adjust plans, and keep delivery timelines on track.
