Key Takeaways

  • Salesforce Integration | Custom Field Mapping: You can now map custom fields from your Salesforce Account object to company custom fields in Craft.io, enabling deeper context and more actionable insights from customer feedback.

Salesforce Integration | Custom Field Mapping

The Salesforce integration in Craft.io is now generally available and includes a powerful enhancement: custom field mapping. This new capability allows teams to enrich their feedback analysis by syncing additional company-specific data directly from Salesforce.

Previously, only default fields such as name, size, and value were available for mapping. With this update, users can now map any custom field from the Salesforce Account object to its corresponding company custom fields in Craft.io. This includes field types such as text, number, date, single-select, and multi-select. This enhancement enables teams to import valuable attributes like customer segments, industry, territory, or seniority, providing a more comprehensive view of the context behind user feedback.

To get started, navigate to the Feedback Portal Salesforce integration settings and select “Field Mapping”. Once the fields are mapped, the data will sync automatically, giving your product team access to a richer data layer within the feedback workflow.
