Key Takeaways

Feedback Portal Salesforce Integration

We’re thrilled to announce the release of the Feedback Portal Salesforce Integration. Salesforce is a leading CRM platform, and its account-level data is invaluable for product teams seeking to understand and prioritize customer needs. With this integration, users can sync Salesforce account data directly into Craft.io’s Feedback Portal, enabling product managers to connect feedback to real business context, and make more data-informed decisions. This feature is currently in a closed beta group. We'd love to add you - please contact your dedicated CS manager.

Setting Up the Integration

Our Salesforce integration makes it easy to bring CRM account data into the Feedback Portal. To get started:

  1. Navigate to Settings → Integrations in the Feedback Portal.

  2. Click on the Setup button to launch the integration process.

  3. Follow the step-by-step guide to connect your Salesforce account.

During setup, you'll be able to:

  • Map Salesforce fields (account name, size, value) to Craft.io company fields.

  • Choose to sync all accounts or use SOQL to filter specific accounts.

  • Select either manual or automatic syncing options.

Customizable Field Mapping

This integration offers full control over how Salesforce data is imported. Users can define which Salesforce fields to map to Craft.io’s company fields: name, size, and value. For example, you may choose to map company size to the number of employees and map value to annual revenue. This flexibility ensures that feedback is always connected to relevant business metrics, empowering teams to prioritize work and align with strategic goals.

Syncing Options

Choose the sync method that fits your workflow:

  • Automatic Sync – Our recommended option. Keep data up to date in real time without lifting a finger. Mapped fields are continuously updated to reflect changes in Salesforce. Users always have an accurate, unified view of company information.

  • Manual Sync – Sync data on demand for more control and flexibility.

You can also use SOQL queries to filter which accounts are imported.

Accessing the Data

Once your data is synced, head to Settings Companies to view and manage all synced company data. You'll see Salesforce-sourced account data alongside your collected feedback, enabling a unified view of each customer’s value and context.
