Product managers need to stay focused on what matters most. Currently, work items and OKRs panels are cluttered with randomly organized fields, making essential information difficult to find. This new Custom Field Categories feature allows you to organize custom and portfolio fields into customized, logical groups, promoting efficiency, order and context within your product data. To start managing your field categories, navigate to Workspace Settings > Fields and choose Custom, Portfolio or OKR Fields. From there, you can create custom categories, drag fields into them, and arrange both fields and categories using drag-and-drop to align with your team's workflows. Once configured, your item panels will reflect these custom categories, displaying fields under their defined groups, rather than the current uncategorized custom or portfolio fields sections. At the portfolio level, portfolio categories with portfolio fields will be displayed first, followed by workspace-level custom fields under their respective categories.

Furthermore, when creating new groups of Guru field for popular methodologies, like RICE or WSJF, corresponding categories will be automatically added, simplifying setup and maintaining consistency.
