The Enterprise Portfolio brings data from multiple portfolios into one unified space. Each portfolio typically has its own custom fields - a quarter field, a segment field, a team field. When the same field existed across multiple portfolios, the Enterprise Portfolio treated them as entirely separate. Grouping by a shared field was not possible, and building enterprise-level views like a cross-portfolio roadmap was out of reach.
With this update, the Enterprise Portfolio automatically joins portfolio fields from different portfolios when they share the same name and field type. Users can now group by these joint fields in the enterprise view, enabling advanced slice-and-dice capabilities that were previously unavailable at the enterprise level. This unlocks views like enterprise roadmaps that span every portfolio in the organization.
No configuration needed. Fields are joined automatically when they share the same name and type across portfolios.
