We are excited to announce a significant enhancement to Craft.io: With our latest feature release, Feedback Multi-Forms, we empower you to take your feedback collection and management to the next level. This update is designed to offer you unparalleled customization, enhanced user satisfaction, efficient feedback management, and scalability.

Why Multi-Forms?

At Craft.io, we understand that collecting feedback is at the heart of your product management journey. Whether you're gathering ideas, addressing frustrations, capturing moments of delight, or conducting surveys, your feedback collection process should adapt to your specific needs.

Key Takeaways

  • Feedback Form management - Gain the power to create and customize feedback forms according to your unique needs.

  • Feedback Fields Repository - Efficiently manage both existing fields and seamlessly incorporate new ones created during form creation.

  • Adaptive Submission - Enable your end-users to easily provide feedback tailored to their specific needs.

  • Seamless Transition - Your existing feedback fields remain intact and ready for you to leverage.

Feedback Forms Management

In the context of Multi-Forms, a form is a structured collection of fields designed to capture specific types of feedback. Admin users have the flexibility to create as many forms as needed, ensuring that feedback collection aligns perfectly with your objectives.

Each form can be associated with one or more feedback categories, allowing you to precisely target the type of feedback you want to collect based on the chosen category when submitting feedback. For categories not explicitly connected to a specific form, Craft.io provides a convenient default form for seamless feedback submission.

You have the option to assign various types of feedback fields to a form. Choose from existing fields or create entirely new ones from scratch using our intuitive Forms Wizard. Any new fields you create will be automatically added to the global fields repository, ensuring accessibility across all your feedback forms.

Feedback Fields Repository

The Global Fields Repository is a centralized hub within Craft.io designed to manage and organize all your feedback fields. It serves as a shared resource for all your forms, ensuring consistency and simplifying your feedback collection process.

With the Global Fields Repository, you can maximize the use of your existing feedback fields. Reuse them across multiple forms, eliminating the need for redundant field creation and streamlining your form management.

When you create a new form, any custom fields you design are automatically added to the Global Fields Repository. This means that the fields you create during the form creation process become part of your organization's field library, ready for use in other forms as needed.

The Global Fields Repository empowers you to maintain consistency and efficiency in your feedback collection efforts. It ensures a unified and organized approach to managing feedback fields, reducing redundancy and saving you valuable time.

Adaptive Submission

When a user selects a feedback category, the submission form dynamically adapts to the specific type of feedback the user is providing. The user is then guided through a customized form that is finely tuned to the questions and information relevant to that particular category. This eliminates the need for a cumbersome process of filling in generic fields that may not apply to the specific feedback being provided.

This enhancement not only benefits feedback submitters but also enhances the feedback collection process for product managers. They receive feedback that is more precise, relevant, and aligned with the chosen category.

Seamless Transition

If you already have your feedback portal in place, you basically don't need to do anything to start using this new Multi-Forms mechanism. All your existing feedback fields, along with their order and behavior settings (such as required or optional), will be automatically assigned to the default form. This means that you won't lose any of your valuable data or customization during the transition.

Rest assured, there's no need for you to take any action to migrate your existing fields. Craft.io will handle the entire process, seamlessly integrating your current feedback structure into the new Multi-Forms system.

Furthermore, your existing fields will become part of the Global Fields Repository, making them readily available for use in any of the new forms you create. This ensures that you can continue to benefit from the fields you've already set up while enjoying the flexibility and customization of Multi-Forms.

We hope you enjoy Craft.io’s latest features! Jump into Craft.io and try them out for yourself.
