We are excited to announce the release of enhanced activity logs for work items in Craft.io! This update brings significant improvements to the visibility and tracking of changes made to initiatives, epics, stories, features, bugs, tasks, and subtasks within the platform. The primary goal of this enhancement is to provide users with greater clarity regarding the origin of each and every change, facilitating auditability and tracking.
Key features and enhancements:
Comprehensive Item Level Events:
The activity logs now include a broader range of item level events, capturing detailed information about actions performed on each work item. This ensures a more comprehensive and accurate history of changes made.
Indication of Event Initiators:
In addition to capturing events, the activity logs now indicate the person responsible for initiating each action. Whether the event was triggered by a user within Craft.io or through an external system, such as a development tool, you can easily identify the source of the change.
Previous and New Values for Updates:
When updating a work item, the activity log now displays the previous value and the new value for the modified fields. This provides a clear reference point, allowing users to understand precisely what was changed during each update.
Custom Fields Tracking:
Custom fields play a vital role in tailoring Craft.io to your specific needs. With this enhancement, the activity logs now include the previous and new values for custom fields as well, ensuring that all modifications, even those made to custom fields, are fully tracked and documented.
We believe that these enhancements will significantly improve the transparency, accountability, and auditability of work items in Craft.io. By providing users with a comprehensive overview of changes and the ability to trace their origins, you can have increased confidence in the accuracy and integrity of your work item history.
We hope you enjoy Craft.io’s latest features! Jump into Craft.io and try them out for yourself.
