Key Takeaways

• Limited and enhanced sharing options - Decide what details to expose when sharing a view or specific item.

  • Promoting feedback to an item - Edit item description and properties before being promoted.

  • Mention users in feedback comments - You now have the ability to mention other users directly on feedback items.

Limited and Enhanced sharing options

In Craft.io, you can share any part of your workspace with users who are not signed in to Craft.io. Every change made in Craft.io will be reflected in the links that you share, keeping everyone up-to-date with your latest work. When sharing a view or an item, you might want to limit what details are exposed. To facilitate this, we are introducing the limited share option. Views shared this way will display only what was displayed when the view was created while hiding filters and item properties.

Promoting feedback on an item

Promoting feedback to an item in Craft.io is a great way to convert ideas and requests of customers and stakeholders into work items in your backlog. You can now adjust the description of the feedback when promoting it to an item. This helps to better reflect the requirement or the user story, all the while keeping the original feedback intact in the portal.

Mention users in feedback comments

Mentioning a user in Feedback item comments is a great way to alert the relevant people. You can @mention people from your company, your team or the feedback provider.

We've seen a lot of value in using mentions in internal feedback comments, and now we're extending the functionality to general comments as well.

We hope you enjoy Craft.io’s latest features! Jump into Craft.io and try them out for yourself.
