New Single Sign-On (SSO) Login

In our latest release, we’ve turned our focus on customers who are using SSO login services.

So What Exactly is SSO?

Single Sign-On (SSO) is an authentication service that allows users to log in with a single username and password to various apps and services. Signing in with Google is probably the most well- known SSO service, but there are numerous services such as Okta, OneLogin, and others. Instead of maintaining a username and password for each of the many cloud services that employees have today, your employees can use SSO to sign on with a single user..

SSO and Craft.io

Craft.io supports various SSO services, and offers enterprises the ability to connect them to Craft.io. Until now, in order to connect to Craft.io via SSO, users had to first connect to their SSO service, and from there log in to Craft.io (e.g., go to their Okta dashboard and log in from there).

Today, we have a simpler and more efficient way to log in to Craft.io via SSO:

Simply go to Craft.io, and click “log in”. In addition to the usual username and password, at the bottom right you will see a “Log in with SSO” button.

Clicking on this button will take you to the SSO login page. There, simply enter your email address and click “Log in”. You will be redirected to your SSO service if you are not logged in yet, and from there, to the Craft.io app.

We hope you enjoy Craft.io’s latest features! Jump into Craft.io and try them out for yourself.

And don't forget to give us your feedback and thoughts in our Craft.io Feedback Portal.
