While we recommend viewing your product online or sharing it with a real-time LiveShare link, you’ll sometimes find that you want to share an offline, printable copy, or use your product data for further manipulation and calculations. 

Craft.io offers a variety of options for exporting your product, including: 

  • Exporting your Product Strategies to PDF 
  • Exporting your Product Definitions to PDF
  • Exporting your Product Roadmap View to PDF
  • Exporting your Product Roadmap Releases to PDF
  • Exporting your Product Stories to CSV 
  • Exporting your Product Assignments to CSV 

To Export your product in Craft.io from any view, click Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right;
 

Exporting Product Strategies

You can export your Strategy section to a PDF file as well. While in Discover > Strategy Insights, select Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right.

You can choose to generate a new export file, or download the last exported file. 

Exporting Product Definitions

You can export your product definitions - including Features, Epics and Stories - to a PDF file. While inside the Plan > Editor workspace, select Export from the 3 dots menu. 

Tip! You can choose to include filters when exporting. When doing so your export file will inherit your workspace filters and will only include filtered data. For more information about filters look Here

Exporting Your Product Roadmap View

You can export an image of your Roadmap view - including releases, goals, initiatives, milestones and lanes - to a PDF File. The Roadmap will be exported according to the year range and your viewing settings.

While in the Engage > Roadmap workspace, select Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right. 

Note: The process of creating a PDF can take up to five minutes. If you do not see the PDF after five minutes, check to ensure that your browser allows pop-ups from https://app.craft.io.

Exporting Product Roadmap Releases

You can export an image of your Roadmap releases in a side by side column view to a PDF File. From Engage > Releases, select Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right. The Roadmap releases will exported according to the year range setting.

Note: The process of creating a PDF can take up to five minutes. If you do not see the PDF after five minutes, check to ensure that your browser allows pop-ups from https://app.craft.io.

Exporting Product Stories

You can export your stories to a CSV file format. The file will include a list of stories with their data and metadata, such as: importance, story points, date of creation, sprint, epic, etc. 

While in Plan>Prioritize or Story Mapping, select Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right and choose to download the list of items. Your filtered data will be exported. 

Exporting Product Assignments

You can export your stories to a CSV file format. The file will include a list of stories with their workflow assignments data: assignee name, assignee team, workflow status, assigned by, hours estimation, hours spent, etc.

While in Plan>Prioritize or Story Mapping, select Export from the 3 dots menu at the upper right and choose to download a list of assignments. Your filtered data will be exported.
