Viewing Stories over a Timeline
The Timeline view will show any story in your product that has either a start date or end date or both.
Visualizing Item Dependencies
Stories displayed on the Timeline view will visualize any dependencies they have with the relevant shape arrows. You can also set and edit dependencies directly from the Timeline view. A Story can be either blocked by other story or stories or it can block other, alternatively stories can be related to each other.
A conflict where the blocking task start date is later than the blocked task start date will be displayed as follows:

Adding Existing Stories to a Timeline
To add an existing Story to the Timeline View, you will need to set its start or end date (or both). You can do this directly from the Assign Items control at the upper right side. Pressing the Assign Items will open the search panel with all stories without start and end dates values, letting you set date range for those stories:
Creating a New Story
To add a new story to your Timeline View, double-click anywhere you would like to add the story to.
You can set the following configuration in Timeline settings:
- Default Story Length - set the default number of days when creating a new story.
- Default Story Type - set the default story type when creating a new item on board (Default is task)
- Date Range - set the date range of the Timeline workspace.
- Work Starting Day - set the first day of your working week day.
Managing Relations on Story level
Relation between stories can be set and managed on the story level. You can add related stories to a story from the Related Items section at the story right panel; You can then set the relation type: Relates, Blocked By or Blocks
The number next to the Related Item icon at the story lower bar will indicates the number of dependent stories;
