Craft.io's Account Manager simplifies user and workspace management, ensuring visibility over paid seats and access levels. Use the tools available to efficiently add, track, and remove users as needed.
Accessing and managing the Account Manager
You can access the Account Manager by clicking your user avatar in the top right-hand corner of the platform and selecting Account Manager from the menu.
Please note that you must be an Account Admin to access these settings.
The dashboard provides a complete view of your account, including:
Users, workspaces, feedback portals, and portfolios
The number of paid seats in use within your enterprise
User access and license status
Using the left-hand menu or clicking the relevant sections on the dashboard, you can navigate through these areas.
Understanding Paid Seats
Paid seats are assigned to users with editing permission, such as:
Editor
Team Leader
Admin
Contributing users (viewers) do not consume a paid seat.
Please note that pending invitations for editor roles also occupy a paid seat until accepted or revoked.
Managing Users
In the Users section, you’ll see a list of all users in the account, along with:
The workspaces, portfolios, or feedback portals they belong to
Their invitation status (Pending or Accepted)
Thier last activity date
Their paid seat status
To view details about a specific user, click on their name to see:
The modules they are part of
Their roles and permissions
Their invitation status
Adding New Users
Inviting new users in Craft.io is a straightforward process that allows account admins to control access to workspaces, portfolios, and feedback portals.
Users can be invited individually or in bulk by entering their email addresses and selecting the appropriate module, role, and team.
Once invited, they receive an email prompting them to join the platform.
Their invitation status can be tracked within the Invite Status column, ensuring visibility into pending or accepted invitations.
Removing Users
Account admins can manage user access by removing users either from the entire account or from specific modules.
When removing a user from the account, all associated access is revoked, including pending invitations.
Alternatively, admins can remove a user from a particular workspace, portfolio, or feedback portal while maintaining their access to other areas.
These actions can be performed directly from the user's profile or within the relevant module.
A confirmation prompt ensures that admins review the changes before finalizing the removal.
