Key Takeaways

We are excited to introduce two new enhancements to the Timeline view, designed to improve the visibility of card titles.

Floating Card Titles

With this enhancement, card titles remain visible even when the timeline is scrolled. Previously, if an item started on a date outside the visible timeline (e.g., January 1st) and the timeline was scrolled to show only later dates (e.g., starting January 15th), the beginning of the title would be cut off. Now, the card title will float along with the scroll, ensuring it remains visible regardless of where the card is positioned on the timeline.

Expanded Title Visibility Option

We understand the frustration of truncated titles when an item's title exceeds the size of its card. With this new option in the view settings, you can now allow titles to exceed the card's size, ensuring that the full title is always displayed. This flexibility lets you tailor the view to suit your preferences and avoid missing critical information.

Both enhancements are part of our ongoing commitment to improving usability and clarity within Craft.io. We hope these updates enhance your experience with the Timeline view!
